UHMWPE Fabric

UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) is the fibre behind the strongest fabrics you can sew. Weight for weight the fibre outperforms steel, which is why it turns up wherever grams matter and failure isn't an option. The same fibre is sold under brand names including Dyneema and Spectra.

This is where the Ultra range lives. Ultra 200X and 80X for pack bodies, UltraTX95 and TX50 for ultralight builds, UltraGrid for reinforced panels, and Ultra Stretch for pockets.

Worth knowing before you cut: UHMWPE is slippery under the presser foot, won't tolerate a hot iron, and needle holes don't close up the way they do in a woven nylon. Test your seam allowances on a scrap first. Sold by the half yard and cut continuously, shipped across Canada and worldwide.
