Polyester Fabric

Polyester holds up where nylon doesn't. It barely absorbs water, so it won't sag or stretch when wet, and it resists UV far better over a season in the sun. It gives up some abrasion resistance in exchange, but for tarps, liners, pack bodies, and anything that lives outside, it's often the smarter choice.

It's also where most of our recycled fabric sits. The RBC range starts at $7.95 a half yard, and the Ecopak, EPLX, and Cordura re/cor lines are all built on recycled inputs without giving up performance. Weights run from 50D ultralight ripstop up to 1200D pack cloth.
