A dual-slot webbing adjuster that holds by friction. Thread the webbing over, under, and back over the centre bar, and tension does the rest. Nothing to snap, seize, or freeze up, which is why adjusters like this turn up on compression straps, shoulder straps, load lifters, and belts where a buckle would be overkill.
Moulded from acetal, so it's light, tough, and shrugs off years of use without cracking or corroding in the cold. The low profile body sits flat against a panel and won't catch.
