Poly Plus 24 | Tex 70 | 10,000M Cone

Poly Plus 24 is the heavy end of the spun polyester range, a Tex 70 thread built for load-bearing seams, and this is deadstock we rescued rather than let sit idle. Where a general-purpose thread handles apparel and light gear, this is what you reach for when the seam has to hold real weight: packs, straps, webbing, heavy canvas, upholstery, dog gear, and tool rolls.

It sews like cotton but carries the strength, colourfastness, and economy of a synthetic. The knotless construction feeds cleanly and resists the breaks and skipped stitches that plague cheaper heavy thread. At ~6.8 lb break strength, it gives you serious seam strength without jumping to a bonded filament, so you keep the soft, low-sheen hand that sits flat in a topstitch.

The 10,000 m put-up is a proper production cone, enough to run a batch of bags or a season of repairs without swapping cones mid-run.

This is genuine deadstock. New, unused thread in good condition, we just can't reorder it, so once these cones are gone they're gone.
