UltraTNT™ PSA Tape

A waterproof seam and repair tape with Ultra fibre reinforcement. Two layers of 0.25 mil polyester film with light grey Ultra yarn running through the warp and bias, backed with a high-tack, non-yellowing pressure sensitive adhesive. No iron, no heat gun, no sewing.

The straight Ultra yarns along the roll keep it from stretching as you apply it, and the CrossPly yarn controls bias stretch and adds tear resistance. That's what separates it from a plain film tape: it seals a seam and reinforces it at the same time. It bonds best to the film side of Ultra and EPLX fabrics, and customers report good results on PU-coated wovens too. Available in four widths from 1/2" to 2", so you can match the tape to the seam rather than trimming it down.

How to apply

1. Work at room temperature, at least 70°F.
2. Make sure the fabric is clean and dry. If it isn't, wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol.
3. Peel back the release paper and lay the tape evenly over the seam, a few inches at a time.
4. Go back over it with a rubber seam roller, applying even pressure. Firm hand pressure works if you don't have one.
5. Let it cure for 24 hours before putting the seam under load or in the rain.
