Original Waxed Canvas 10.10oz

Original Wax on 10.10oz cotton duck, finished in the USA by a family-owned company that's been doing it for over a century. The wax soaks into the weave rather than sitting on the surface, which is why it sheds rain, creases into a patina instead of cracking, and gets better looking as it gets used.

Note the two weights. The base cloth is 10.10oz, but once waxed it comes in at 13.54oz, and that's the weight you're actually sewing. It's a substantial fabric, so plan for a heavier needle and expect a slower feed. Four colours, all of which darken where the fabric folds and lighten again if you work the wax back in with heat.
