This is a full 100 metre roll of YKK #10 Vislon, sold as continuous chain so you cut whatever length the project needs. Sliders are sold separately.
The #10 is the heavy end of the molded tooth range. At 10 mm the teeth are roughly double the width of a #5, and everything scales with them: a bigger tooth face, a stiffer chain, and a lot more resistance to being forced open under load.
Vislon is YKK's molded tooth construction. The teeth are injection moulded directly onto the tape rather than woven or clamped on.
Best for expedition duffels, cargo bags, tent doors, boat and equipment covers, dog beds, roof top tents, and industrial soft goods. If it feels like overkill for the project, it probably is, and the #5 Vislon roll is the more versatile size.
A full roll is a production purchase. Lead time is approximately two weeks.
