Orders & Shipping

Do I have to pay customs or duties when ordering from the U.S.?

Yes, but as of September 1, 2025 all U.S. orders are shipped using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) labels. That means all import duties and fees are already charged during checkout and covered, so there are no surprise charges at your door. You only pay the price you see at checkout.

Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped from our shop in Ottawa, ON.

Do you ship to the U.S.?

Yes! We ship across the U.S. every week using reliable tracked services.

Do you ship internationally outside of Canada and the U.S.?

Yes! We ship worldwide.

Can I pick my order up locally in Ottawa?

Yes — local pickup is available in Ottawa, Ontario. You’ll see this option at checkout.

Can I have fabric shipped rolled?

Yes! For fabric orders that are better shipped rolled than folded, we're happy to accommodate. Because rolled shipments require different packaging, the shipping cost may differ from what's calculated at checkout — we charge actual shipping costs, so we'll work it out with you directly.

To get a shipping quote before you order, just reach out and we'll get back to you with the cost. Or place your order as normal, add a note requesting rolled shipping, and we'll follow up with any difference before we pack it up.

What kinds of fabrics do you carry?

We specialize in technical fabrics like ripstop, X-Pac, laminated alternatives, waxed canvas, and other performance textiles — ideal for bags, packs, and outdoor gear. From nylon to polyester, UHMWPE and more, we have it all.

Do you sell small cuts, or only full rolls?

We have no minimum order and fabric is sold by the 1/2 yard keeping everything accessible to all.

Do you sell zippers, buckles, and hardware as well as fabric?

Yes — we stock a full range of YKK zippers, buckles, fasteners, and other DIY hardware.

How do I know which material is best for my project?

Each product page has detailed specs and common use cases. If you’re unsure, email us with your project details and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Can I request a specific fabric or product?

Absolutely. If enough customers ask, we’ll do our best to bring it in.

Can I return cut fabric?

No — because all fabric is cut to order, we can’t accept returns. Please order a swatch first if you’re unsure.
