Stretch Fabric
Some parts of a build need to move. Stretch fabric is what you reach for on side and shove-it pockets, bottle sleeves, gaiters, cuffs, and anywhere gear has to expand around its contents and then pull flat again when empty.
Recovery matters more than stretch. A fabric that gives but doesn't spring back leaves you with saggy pockets after a season, so pay attention to how a stretch fabric behaves on the return. Sold by the half yard and cut continuously. Shipped across Canada and worldwide.
For pockets that need structure instead of give, see mesh.
