A digital sewing pattern for a 24 litre daypack, designed by Stitchback Gear. One large main compartment with a drawstring closure, a zippered hood pocket over the top, and nothing else in the way. It's the classic climbing daypack shape, simple enough to load fast and to sew without a fight, and just as at home on a plane or around town as it is at the crag.

At roughly 24 litres it's sized for long day trips. The hood pocket is adjustable with a slash pocket underneath, there's an internal sleeve for a foam frame sheet that doubles as a hydration pocket, and the waist belt comes off when you don't want it. A fairly straightforward project, good for anyone with some sewing experience.

Built in heavy duty materials like 1200d Cordura re/cor or EPX200, as shown in the photos, it will last for years. Built in UltraGrid instead, it becomes a fast and light pack for peak bagging.

We recommend buying the pattern before ordering materials, so you understand the project and its requirements before you commit to fabric.

Stitchback Gear's CAD drafted patterns give you a jump start on your next MYOG project. Build it as drawn, or use it as a launching point and customise it to fit. This listing is a digital download: a PDF with the full size pattern and instructions, formatted to print on 8.5x11" paper.
