Sew-On Reflective Tape

Sew-on reflective fabric tape for adding night visibility to the gear you make. In daylight it reads as a flat silver grey trim. When headlights, a headlamp, or a camera flash hit it, the retroreflective face bounces that light straight back toward the source, so the stripe lights up bright white from the driver's or rider's point of view. It's the narrow, ready-to-sew option for reflective fabric.

Stitch it on flat along both edges with a straight or narrow zigzag stitch. Don't iron the reflective side, since heat can dull the finish. Common uses include strips on pack bodies and shoulder straps, bike frame bags and saddle bags, dog collars, leashes and coats, stuff sacks, and trim on jackets, vests and running gear.
