Semi-Stiff Mesh

Pocket mesh that holds its shape. Most mesh collapses the moment you let go of it, which makes for pockets that lie flat and swallow whatever you try to put in them. This one has enough body to stay open on its own, so a water bottle pocket stays a pocket and a shove-it pocket keeps its mouth up where you can find it one-handed.

The 3/32" holes are the useful middle ground: small enough that a headlamp or a set of keys won't work its way through, open enough to drain fast and dry out overnight. It breathes, it sheds sand and grit rather than trapping it, and you can see what's in the pocket without opening it.

Use it for external pack pockets, bottle sleeves, shove-it pockets, gear organisers, tent and pannier dividers, and laundry or ditty bags. It's a natural partner to solid pack fabric anywhere you want visibility and drainage instead of another closed compartment.
