Martexin Wax Refinishing Can
Pickup available at 345 Roosevelt Ave
Usually ready in 2-4 days
A 1.5oz tin of Original Wax for re-waxing waxed canvas. Wax wears off at the fold lines and high-contact areas first, which is where a bag starts letting water through even though the fabric is fine. This puts it back.
Works on any waxed canvas, whether you sewed it yourself or it came that way. A well-used jacket, a bag that's gone dull at the corners, or a project you want to darken deliberately, this brings back the water resistance and the depth of colour at the same time. One tin covers a decent-sized bag or a spot repair on something larger.
How to apply
- Clean the surface to remove dirt and debris, and let it dry.
- Work the wax into the fabric with a soft cloth or sponge, spreading it evenly.
- Warm it with a hairdryer or heat gun on low so the wax melts and soaks into the fibres.
- Let it cool, then buff to finish.
