Continuous YKK #5 coil zipper chain, cut to length by the foot in one unbroken piece. #5 is the general purpose size for bag making, light enough to curve cleanly around a pocket radius and strong enough for a pack lid or a bike bag opening. It does not separate, so it suits pouches, pack pockets, top openings, and anything that zips shut rather than apart.
Coil chain is symmetric. There is no standard or reverse version of the chain itself, so the orientation of the finished zipper is decided entirely by which slider you put on it. A standard slider gives you exposed coil, a reverse slider gives you the coil facing inward and a cleaner tape-side finish. Sliders are sold separately: standard coil sliders, reverse coil sliders.
