It is a reverse coil zipper with a laminated finish on the tape face, which makes rain bead and run off the zipper line instead of wicking through it. Water resistant, not waterproof: it is the right choice for packs, bike bags, covers, and dry storage that sees weather, and the wrong choice for anything that gets submerged.

Available in multiple sizes, #3 through #10, spanning light flexible closures up to heavy openings on large gear and luggage. It ships as chain with no slider attached, so you will need to add one. Because AquaGuard is best with the laminated side outwards, pair it with reverse coil sliders in the matching gauge, and reach for locking sliders if the zipper needs to hold position under load.
