AquaGuard Zipper (Closed End)

The YKK AquaGuard closed-end zipper is the one to reach for on bags, packs, and pockets, anywhere a zipper needs to shrug off rain but never has to come fully apart. A laminate over the coil resists water from the outside, so moisture beads and runs off instead of soaking through the zipper line. It's water-resistant rather than waterproof, which suits bike bags, pouches, rain shells, and boat covers that face wet weather without needing a sealed, submersible closure.

Closed-end means it has a fixed bottom stop, so the two sides stay joined at the base and the slider runs up and down a closed track, exactly what a pocket or pack opening wants. It comes in sizes 3 and 5 at 15 inches long, in a range of colours to match your build, and it can be trimmed to a shorter length if needed.
