This is the YKK AquaGuard sold by the foot, cut in one continuous length so you can order exactly what a project needs rather than working around a fixed size. It's a water-resistant coil zipper, with a laminate over the teeth that helps rain bead and run off rather than soak through the zipper line. Water-resistant rather than waterproof, it's a great fit for jackets, backpacks, bike bags, dry storage, and covers that meet wet weather.

Choose from four gauges, #3, #5, #8, and #10, which span light, flexible closures right up to heavy-duty openings on large gear and luggage. Because it ships as continuous chain, you'll need to add a slider to finish it. The AquaGuard is a reverse coil zipper, so reach for reverse coil locking sliders to hold position under load, or browse all reverse coil sliders to match the gauge and style your build calls for.
