Coats® Gral™ thread in black, Tex 70, on a 6000 m cone. Gral is a lubricated, pre-stabilised, high-tenacity continuous filament polyester with a smooth, low-friction finish that runs cleanly through the machine and holds up well to abrasion. At Tex 70 it's a step heavier than our Tex 40 Gral, which makes it a good pick for pack and bag seams, straps, and other outdoor gear that sees real wear.
A 6000 m cone is a production-size put-up, enough to sew a batch of bags or a season of builds without changing cones. This is rescued surplus sold through our ReVived line at a deadstock price, so stock is limited to what we have. Not sure Tex 70 is the right weight for your project?
