YKK #8 Coil Slider | Non-locking

A standard slider for #8 YKK coil chain, the heaviest gauge we stock. #8 is what you reach for on main compartments, duffels, and pack lids where the zipper carries real load and gets opened wearing gloves.

Non-locking means the slider runs freely and won't hold its position on its own, which is what you want on two-way setups and anywhere the zipper needs to open smoothly without catching. It comes with a long pull tab, or run your own cord if you'd rather, and see our zipper pulls for other options. It's a standard slider, so the coil faces out. To run the same chain with the coil facing in and the clean tape face showing, use a reverse slider instead. Pair it with #8 coil chain, sold by the foot.
