This cord lock has a built-in loop, which is the small but handy difference: it can be sewn or tied directly to your gear so it stays put and never wanders off down the cord or goes missing. Press the toggle, slide it to set your cord length, and let go to lock it in place.
The loop makes it a natural pick for stuff sacks, sleeping bag hoods, jacket drawcords, and pack closures, anywhere you want the cord lock anchored to the item rather than floating free. Moulded from acetal, it's light, tough, and keeps its grip through plenty of outdoor use.
