Adjustable Gate Keeper (Right)

This is the right-handed adjustable gate keeper, the mirror of the left, and the two are made to work as a pair. Also called a lockable G-hook, it gives a strap a secure but removable connection: the hook catches a bar or webbing loop, and a small gate stops it from releasing on its own, so it holds until you decide to unclip it. The adjustable side sets the strap length, so a single piece handles both the latch and the fit.

You'll see it on packs and bags wherever a strap needs to come off cleanly yet stay locked under load. It keeps weight down without trading away strength, and moulded from acetal it handles weather and steady use on both new builds and repairs.
