A side release buckle that closes itself. Bring the two halves near each other and the magnets pull them into alignment, so you can fasten it one-handed, in the dark, or with gloves on, without lining anything up by feel. Release is the same side squeeze you already know.
The fiddly part of any buckle is getting the prongs lined up with the slots. Magnets take that out of it, which is why these earn their place on chest straps, bag flaps, and anything you open and close constantly, or fasten with one hand while the other is holding something.
Available in 20mm and 25mm to match your webbing, with no minimum order, so you can try one before committing to a run.
