RBC400

RBC400 is a recycled pack fabric that keeps things simple and affordable. Unlike a laminate, it's a single-ply woven recycled polyester, with an environmentally friendly C0 DWR on the face and a water-resistant PU coating on the back. That makes it a practical, water-resistant choice for packs, bike bags, pouches, and everyday outdoor projects, whether you're building from scratch or repairing gear you already own. The 400d face gives it a sturdy hand and good structure while staying easy to cut and sew.

It carries a real environmental upside too: the polyester is recycled, and every yard saves about a pound of carbon emissions compared with standard nylon or polyester bag fabric. So it's an easy way to keep a project both budget-friendly and a little greener.

RBC400 is water-resistant rather than waterproof, which suits most bags and pouches well. If your build needs to stand up to sustained rain or full submersion, take a look at the waterproof EcoPak laminates instead. It's sold per half yard and shipped folded, in six colours from Black Knight and Coyote Brown to the high-vis Yellow Sun, Lemon Lime, and Bright Orange.
