The Stitchback bikepacking handlebar bag or "BP1" is the first in thw series of bikepacking patterns. The BP1 is a harness and bag system, and includes patterns for both parts. Although a bag pattern is included, any dry bag with a size of approximately 8" x 14" could be used instead.

The bag has a volume of approximately 13 liters. It features a unique zippered opening on the end of the bag, as well as a Velcro patch that keeps the bag from shifting sideways while riding. The squared off shape of the bag makes it easy to apply seam sealing tape if desired.

The harness is stiffened with foam and features daisy chains on the top surface that allow other pouches or a bungee lashing system to be attached. The pattern also includes instructions for making foam handlebar spacers which make attaching the harness to your bicycle easier.
